Hi mhegs - where is your place K.S.A? You can buy it right here on this website if you're in South Africa. There are also some stores in Joburg that sell it too. Not sure if that helps...

Hi Fresh Earth stocks the Cooms Organic B Grade Maple Syrup, you can order online and they will deliver to you if you are in South Africa: http://www.freshearth.co.za/store/p-1660-cooms-maple-syrup-946ml.aspx

I'm using the organic maple syrup grade A which is all I could find. Is this a problem? I've lost 4.5kg in 4 days.

Well, you haven't been eating, of course you will lose weight. The maple syrup doesn't have anything to do with that. But Grade A maple syrup is just pure sugar and not very good for you at all. The main point of the MC is enabling your body to detox properly and clean out. The mineral and vitamin content of the Grade B syrup is much richer and completely different from the Grade A and this is why it's used. As I said above its not very hard to find anymore at all. It can be gotten right here on this website and the link above too.

I guess it all comes down to the kind of respect you have for yourself and your body to do the MC properly. Its a "first step" tool for holistically improving and regaining your health. If weight loss is your only goal you will in all likelihood simply go back to your old habits once you finish and gain the weight back! If you just use any old ingredient, well, why even bother with Maple Syrup - just add nice white sugar? Definitely not a road to improved health methinks....
